Introduction
If you've ever looked at Awwwards' "Site of the Day" and thought, "I wish my startup's website looked like that," you've probably come across Rejouice.
This small agency has collected 28 Awwwards Sites of the Day, worked on sites for Rivian and Oura, and calls itself "The Growth Accelerator." It also offers something unusual: it can take part of its fee in equity instead of cash.
That combination, award-level design plus a willingness to bet on its clients, makes Rejouice interesting for startups. But it also raises questions. What does it actually cost? How does the equity option work? And is it right for your company?
In this review, I'll walk you through who Rejouice is, what it does, what it charges, and when a different studio might make more sense.
The Short Answer: Is Rejouice Worth It?
Rejouice is worth it for ambitious startups and growth companies that want an award-winning brand and website, and possibly to trade some fees for equity, but it's a small, selective agency, and its public pricing signals vary.

How I Wrote This Review
I put this review together in early November 2026. I looked at Rejouice's Awwwards profile and award history, its agency directory listing on UpCity, and its public project work.
I haven't worked with Rejouice myself. I design and build websites, so I'm reviewing this from a designer's point of view.
Who Is Rejouice?
Rejouice (styled REJOUICEยฎ) is a full-service creative agency that builds brands through strategy, storytelling and design. It describes itself as "The Growth Accelerator." It was previously known as Oui Will, and it works in English and French.
Its Awwwards profile places it in San Diego, while its directory listing says it works internationally. The team is small, about 6 to 20 people, and it says it takes on only about 5 clients a year.
The equity option
The most unusual thing about Rejouice is its pricing model. According to its directory listing, clients can pay:
full cash fees, or
offset up to 50% of fees in exchange for equity in their company.
That's rare. It means Rejouice is willing to share in your success, and share the risk.
What Services Does Rejouice Offer?
Service | What it means | Example |
|---|---|---|
Brand strategy and narrative | Positioning and story | Defining how an energy startup explains its mission |
Logo and brand identity | Visual identity | A new identity for a fintech |
Web design | Award-level websites | A launch site for an electric vehicle brand |
UX design | Product and site experiences | A clearer onboarding journey |
Packaging and product design | Physical products | Packaging for a consumer product |
3D modeling and prototyping | 3D visuals and prototypes | 3D product renders for a launch |
Industries
It lists automotive, business services, e-commerce, energy, finance, healthcare, hospitality, SaaS and startups.
Rejouice's Work and Awards
Rejouice has a strong record on Awwwards, the website awards platform:
28 Sites of the Day
1 Site of the Month: Terminal Industries (September 2025), a company focused on shipping yards. It also won a Developer Award.
31 Honorable Mentions
Other projects include:
Rivian Automotive: Site of the Day in December 2018, years before Rivian became a household name.
Oura: an Honorable Mention in 2020.
DUCHATEAU, Noovo, Moxion Power, GenCell, NexBank, Unspun, Engineered Floors and others.
What this work shows
There's a clear pattern: ambitious companies in energy, mobility, health tech and finance. Rejouice seems to enjoy making hard technology feel exciting and human.
What Do Clients Say About Rejouice?
Rejouice's UpCity profile has no client reviews yet, and I didn't find a Clutch profile with reviews. Its reputation comes mainly from its awards and its client list.
What strengths come through
Award-level design. 28 Awwwards Sites of the Day.
Early bets. It worked with Rivian early on.
Equity option. Rare and useful for startups.
Selective. Only about 5 clients a year.
What's missing
There's no public client feedback on process, timelines or budgets. Ask for references, especially if you're considering the equity option.
Is Rejouice Legit?
Yes. Rejouice has a long Awwwards record, real clients like Rivian and Oura, and directory listings with clear terms. The main thing to check isn't legitimacy. It's pricing and how the equity option works in practice.
How Much Does Rejouice Cost?
The public signals vary:
Source | What it says |
|---|---|
UpCity listing | $10,000+ minimum per project; $2,000+/month minimum retainer |
Awwwards profile | Budget band "Over $100,000" |
Equity option | Up to 50% of fees can be paid in equity |
The likely reality: smaller projects may start around $10,000, but full brand and website projects for growth companies are probably much larger. Ask for a written estimate.
How the equity option might work
Say your brand and website project is quoted at $120,000. With a 50% equity offset, you might pay $60,000 in cash and give Rejouice equity worth $60,000 at your current valuation.
That can help a cash-strapped startup. But it also means giving away part of your company. Talk to your lawyer and investors before agreeing, and make sure the valuation and terms are clear.
A worked example
Say you're a seed-stage climate tech startup building battery storage for construction sites. Your product is impressive, but your brand looks like a typical industrial company.
Rejouice might:
Strategy and narrative (3 to 4 weeks): a story that makes your mission clear and exciting.
Identity (4 to 6 weeks): a modern brand that looks like the future.
Website (6 to 8 weeks): an award-level site with 3D product visuals.
Ongoing retainer: content and updates as you grow.
Depending on scope, that could be anywhere from mid five figures to six figures, with the option to pay part in equity.
Rejouice vs Other Award-Winning Studios
Rejouice is often compared with Unseen Studio, Locomotive, Exo Ape, Refokus and Veza Digital.
Unseen Studio, Locomotive and Exo Ape are known for crafted, motion-rich websites.
Refokus and Veza Digital are Webflow-focused studios.
Rejouice stands out for its startup and growth focus, its equity option and its record with energy and mobility brands.
My Honest Design Opinion
As a designer, I like that Rejouice is willing to put skin in the game. Taking equity means the agency only really wins if your company does. That tends to make an agency care more about results than about awards.
My honest caution: equity is expensive money. If your startup does well, the equity you give away could be worth far more than the cash you saved. It's a good tool in the right situation, but think carefully.
Also, award-winning sites can be heavy and hard to update. Ask how your team will edit the site after launch.
Pros of Rejouice
Award-level design. 28 Awwwards Sites of the Day.
Equity option. Up to 50% of fees.
Strong in energy, mobility and fintech.
Selective. About 5 clients a year means focus.
Full service. Strategy to web to packaging.
Cons of Rejouice
Mixed pricing signals.
No public client reviews.
Small team, limited capacity.
Equity can be costly if your company grows a lot.
Award-style sites can be harder to maintain.
Who Should Hire Rejouice?
Rejouice is a good fit for:
ambitious startups in energy, mobility, health and fintech,
founders who want an award-level brand and website,
startups that would rather trade some equity than spend all cash,
growth companies preparing a big launch.
Who Should Look Elsewhere?
Look elsewhere if you:
don't want to give up any equity and have a small budget,
need a simple site quickly,
want lots of public reviews before you hire,
need high-volume, everyday design work,
are a traditional local business.
Questions to Ask Before You Sign
"What would our project cost in cash only?"
"How does the equity option work, and at what valuation?"
"Who will work on our project?"
"Can our team update the website ourselves?"
"Can we speak to a client who used the equity option?"
"What's included in the monthly retainer?"
Best Rejouice Alternatives

A Quick Note About Me
I'm Subarno, and I run a small design and no-code studio. I don't take equity, and I won't promise 28 Awwwards. If that's what you're after, Rejouice is a fascinating option.
But many startups just want a clean, modern website and brand that they can update easily, at a fixed monthly cost, without giving away part of the company. My $1,000/month retainer covers:
website design in Figma,
website builds in Framer or Webflow,
branding for smaller businesses, like logos, colors and brand guides,
small website animations and interactions,
banners, posters and social media content.
If that sounds right, book a free 30-minute call or reach me through my contact page. If you want an award-winning team that's willing to bet on you, Rejouice is worth talking to.
Final Verdict: Is Rejouice Worth It?
Rejouice is a small, selective agency with an impressive Awwwards record and work for ambitious companies like Rivian and Oura. Its equity-for-fees option is unusual and can help startups stretch their cash.
It's worth it for ambitious startups and growth companies that want award-level design and are open to sharing equity. Get clear pricing in writing, understand the equity terms fully, and make sure you can update the site after launch.
